Science Board Game

Here is a board game I created to revise different topics in a more entretaining way. I hope you like it!

I also created a large set of cards that go with it. Of course you can make your own. I include samples of the cards. I have prepared 15 questions of each of the following topics:

living things, cells, mixtures, electricity, magnetism, chemical reactions, states of matter, plants, properties of materials, nutrition, digestive system and more. You may find a larger sample  at  http:// teacherspayteachers.com

Food Chain - revision aid

This word puzzle is useful as a way to revise key  concepts and vocabulary. Answers are provided at the end.

Asking your students to invent a word puzzle to demonstrate their knowledge of a certain topic, is an engaging way of assessment for students, but also effective and entertaining for you as a teacher. Of course you will have to let them know your requirements in advance ( number of words, for example). You can then copy the best ones and use them the following year.

Method

1. Complete each sentence using a suitable word.

2. Write your answers in the space provided in the letter grid.

3. Find the magic word that goes down the vertical column.
